Ilkka Kangas

Senior ServiceNow Architect, Co-Founder, Catalyte Oy

Service management digitalization, architecture, and integrations have been on my desk for over a decade. Most of this time has been spent deep within the ServiceNow ecosystem, utilizing out-of-the-box applications and platform capabilities as well as developing tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Working across a wide range of customer environments and stakeholders has provided a strong foundation for collaboration, design, problem-solving, and continuous development.

What motivates me most is seeing a solution genuinely make a customer’s daily work easier and deliver tangible value. My goal is to build sustainable solutions that support the customer’s development in the long term and adapt to changing needs.

In addition to ServiceNow, I am also familiar with the iPaaS platforms Frends and ONEiO, as well as the project management platform Monday.com.

Jyri Venninen

Service Management Advisor, Co-Founder, Catalyte Oy

I have worked in IT services and service management for over 20 years, both in Finland and internationally. Early in my career, I spent several years in global service organisations such as IBM, Infosys, Wipro, and Fujitsu. This gave me a strong understanding of how large enterprises operate and where service management typically starts to break down.

For the past 10+ years, I have specialised in service management platforms, particularly ServiceNow. I have led implementations, built new solutions, fixed problematic deployments, and simplified environments that had grown unnecessarily complex over time. What matters most to me is the outcome: a solution that is clear, maintainable, and supports the business.

More recently, I have expanded my expertise to include HaloITSM. This has strengthened my ability to take a more holistic view of service management and help organisations evaluate when it makes sense to evolve their current platform and when, for example, the total cost of ownership makes a compelling case for considering alternatives.

Simo Saaranen

Enterprise Service Management Architect, Co-Founder, Catalyte Oy

I help organizations improve service management and business processes by combining integrations, automation, and architecture into cohesive, effective solutions. With nearly 20 years of experience, I design and deliver scalable solutions that reduce manual work and create measurable business value.

I work hands-on across a range of platforms and technologies, including Halo, Matrix42 (Efecte), Frends, ONEiO, Jira, and Azure, ensuring that solutions move beyond design and perform effectively in real-world use.

Tommi Kauhanen

Co-Founder, Catalyte Oy

For over ten years, I have helped organizations build service management solutions that actually work in everyday operations.

The work isn't just technical implementation. It starts with understanding how teams operate, where processes slow things down, and what needs to be simplified before anything gets built.

Technical debt builds up easily when solutions are rushed or overcomplicated. That's why I stick to one principle: if a solution doesn't make things clearer and easier, it doesn't get built.
